Gloomy days – gloomy nails

Hello! ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s been really grey and rainy in the UK recently and I really haven’t been feeling up to much. But one good thing came out of all this gloominess – a new nail design! It matches the weather pretty well but it’s also quite elegant and classy, very office friendly ๐Ÿ™‚ I thought I really needed something calmer after all these bright and colourful patterns we’ve been seeing everywhere recently.ย

For this super simple manicure I used two coats of this gorgeous grey by A-England. It’s called, very appropriately in my opinion, Wuthering Heights. The varnish is this sort of warm toned, reddish – purple grey with a TON of tiny silver microglitters. A very beautiful polish, looks great on the nails and it’s a really interesting grey, which is super hard to achieve! To finish the look off I just added some black striping tape to create this faux French tip. Sealed with a fast drying top coat and that’s it!

Here’s a bottle shot, in case you’re curious:

I definitely recommend all A-England polishes, they’re of great quality and really beautiful too! You can find themย hereย and currently they are having a good sale too ๐Ÿ˜‰
